A Lesson from American Idol
The most interesting thing about American Idol is that the winner doesn’t necessarily win, and the loser doesn’t necessarily lose. In fact, it will take the better part of a year to determine who the real winner is from this years’ contest.
The lesson? Competition doesn’t stop when the prize is awarded. “Winners” can’t afford to become complacent, and “losers” often have more opportunities to get ahead than may first appear.
